Iran children fest kicks off voice acted screenings for international films

The 30th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Iran has started screenings with simultaneous dubbing for films.

The 30th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Iranian historic city of Isfahan has started screening int’l films with simultaneous voice acting.

The official website of the festival said on Saturday that some non-Persian films were simultaneously dubbed by Iranian voice actors.

The dubbed films that were screened include ‘Little Hero’ by Anthony Bennet from Germany and ‘Help, I’ve Shrunk My Teacher’ by Sven Unterwaldt from Austria and Germany.

The international film festival is annually organized by Farabi Cinema Foundation in affiliation with the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.

It is an event that celebrates films made for children and youth. The festival supports emerging filmmakers with innovative cinematic visions and ideas. It is also an event that serves as a platform for professionals to come together and exchange ideas.

The 30th edition of IFFCY is held from June 30 to July 6, 2017 in the Iranian historic city of Isfahan.
